From Artificial Intelligence to Smart Audit… New Horizons for Supreme Audit Institutions The President of the Court of Accounts Participates in the International Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Cairo

The First President of the Court of Accounts, Judge Mohamad Badran, participated in the international seminar on "Economic Artificial Intelligence: New Horizons for Supreme Audit Institutions," hosted in Cairo on 31 August and 1 September 2026, under the patronage of the Central Auditing Organization of the Arab Republic of Egypt, headed by Counselor Mohamed El-Faisal Youssef, President of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

The seminar served as an international occasion to discuss ways of employing artificial intelligence more efficiently and in a resource-appropriate manner, and to explore its potential in developing audit working methods and enhancing the capacity of supreme audit institutions to keep pace with digital transformation.
